Gavino Loche: Sultans of Swing
We have already featured other amazing acoustic versions of Dire Straits’ “Sultan of Swings”. Two by Andrea Valeri (one in studio and one live) and another one by Pedro Javier González together with his friends Tommy Emmanuel and John Jorgenson.
This time Gavino Loche, a fine Italian guitarist from Sardinia, gives his amazing interpretation. His peculiar style is to make at the same time melody, bass line and percussion, but this time he surpasses himself. In some insane passages he makes fast arpeggiated melody together with bass line and percussion, just amazing!
