Yamandu Costa: Considered One Of Brazil’s Finest Guitarist

I just did a recording session with a phenomenal guitarist named Pedro Rodriguez who plays kind of a hybrid of jazz, classical and flamenco. We talked a little after the session and he mentioned guitarist  Yamandu Costa , a guitarist that is considered one of the greatest of Brazilian music.

Yea, it’s classical in nature but Yamandu’s playing has a little jazz, Samba, Bosa Nova, New Age etc…

This video was filmed when he was young, and there’s more current videos that I’ll feature. But I just thought this was a good starting point.
