Thomas Roboticus – Robot With a Human Touch

Here’s Thomas Roboticus performing a Thom Grandillo cover song entitled “Just Before The Finish Line.”

Thom Grandillo (no not the Robot) shared this video with us over at https://www.facebook.com/AcousticGuitarVideos/

and wrote this brief description:

“My new Robot with a Godin Acoustic with a splash of Roland (Fretless Bass patch) synth… (and a Men at Work poster on the wall).”

To be honest and at first I though- who would do such a thing, you know, the Robot getup…

But if Thom sent this in without the video, I’d say this sounds like a cool song and something I myself would want to learn. Very nice chord changes.

Any thoughts on the Robot?

Right now this video only received 12 views… so perhaps it might take some time for the Roboticus to catch on.

But I will tell you this- Thom  Grandillo is certainly a lot better than some of the guys receiving millions of views on YouTube.  And some of those guys are just barely playing some pop song in their bedroom. Go figure.
