Doyle Dykes Rips Into Fingerpickin’ Country

Doyle Dykes reminds me of an American version of Tommy Emmanuel.

Obviously has that Chet Atkins country sound and flavor to his playing but also has more chops than Chet.

Okay, let’s call Doyle “Chet on Steroids.”

Doyle is a one man wrecking crew and takes no prisoners when he plays-
What I mean by that statement is, he has that firm and aggressive touch- even on slower style songs (which I will feature here soon and you’ll hear). And just when he may lull you for a passage, he’ll come back with a burning line that will take your head off.
