Guitar Republic: Unconventional Trio

Pino Forastiere, Stefano Barone and Sergio Altamura are for sure among the best Italian acoustic guitarists. Sergio is more into experimenting both with electronics and with unconventional tools like the bow is using in this performance. Stefano is focused on percussive techniques, and Pino is an accomplished all-round musician.

“Guitar Republic” is the name of this trio as well as of the album they published in 2010.

This performance was recorded in 2011 at the Canadian Guitar Festival, where they had a lot of success.
