Django “In A Box”

You know, with today’s technology, I’m surprised they haven’t built a Django robot or something..

Well, look at what Gilles Rea did…

He transcribed Django’s song entitled “Tears”  … (that was the hard part) and then set it all into motion using Apple Logic Studio. He also says he uses a screen capture program but that’s just for us to watch his computer screen.

If you’re a fan of Django than you absolutely know this song. What’s great is to be able to look at this from the perspective of the guitarist and see what Django played on this song way back in 1938.

I think it’s absolutely amazing…. (I’m talkin’ about Django now)

The program and what Gilles did is very cool too…. I may have to get one.
