Week In Tribute: Paco de Lucia – Video IV

Here’s Paco de Lucia entitled- Entre dos Aguas

Check out at about 14 seconds… left hand slides up on 1 string to play the scale. Very cool and worth pointing out. Seems lots of the flamenco players make this move- might have gotten this technique from violin (fiddle players) when shifting positions.

At 2:58 Paco goes into a double time run that goes on quite long… certainly long enough for the camera guys to focus in on instead of the bongos and his face.

Also, it took even longer to realize what the guy between Paco and the bongo player was doing on stage…
