George Benson Plays Acoustic

We all know George Benson for his great jazz guitar playing (electric archtop that is).

Well here he is on the acoustic (nylon string)!

Now the tone he’s getting here, well…

It’s not as smooth as his electric playing….

It’s still some great stuff but I think this proves that the electric and acoustic guitar are two very different instruments… at least when it comes to how both guitars need to be attacked.. He’s certainly playing this guitar a lot harder than he would his archtop.
