Here’s a song entitled : ” Blues to Dawg”  performed by The David Grisman Quintet written by Grant Gordy. The gig was filmed up at the Portsmouth Music Hall, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. 2/28/10.

I just featured a video from Grant and mandolinist Anthony Hannigan playing bluegrass..

But this time we get to see a little more into Grant’s jazz background and his writing skills.

Now make no mistake, Grisman is not about to perform a song unless he really thinks it’s worth something ….

But I don’t need David’s seal of approval to form my opinion- this is a beautiful composition…
