Pat Metheny Does Sound Check

Okay, this is a pretty rough informal video of Pat Metheny doing a sound check.

You know, for some reason I really like these rough homemade videos…

You know for sure that they’re not doctored up

And it just seems so informal.

Pat plays some great stuff here, and the tone of that guitar is just marvelous.

This sound check was videoed  during the  Sant’Anna Arresi Jazz Festival, way back in 2005.
