Jacques Stotzem : It’s All In The Hands

Here’s a guitarist that a friend of mine (who didn’t want his name mentioned) recommended..

Check out Jacques Stotzem, with a song called “Simple Pleasure.”

I noticed some of the comments over at YouTube asking Jacques what kind of amplification he is using…. It sure sounds great!!!

Well, Jacques  wrote in and said he was using a Fishman Ellipse blend.

But truthfully, I don’t consider the amplification to be the ultimate factor when it comes to good tone (although it helps).

“It’s all in the hands,” as we’ve all heard for many years. And what may work for Jacques many times won’t work for someone else. So my advice is to always try a few systems and see what fits your style the best.
