Rob Guerin “Bliss Tree” Acoustic Guitar

Here’s a really talented guitarist by the name of Rob Guerin performing a song called Bliss Tree.

It’s all in the tapping guitar style and played very well.

What amazes me is the beautiful tone Rob is able to get out out of his guitar using this technique. Now I can’t tell but the guitar has got to be plugged in, right? Like I’ve said in earlier posts, I’ve tried some of this tapping stuff and can’t seem to get any volume out of my guitar (hey, guess I’m used to the Martin with medium gauge strings and a tortoise shell pick).

I’m seriously waiting for someone to invent another guitar that is designed just for this style, as really, it’s more like playing a piano than a guitar. In any event, Rob Guerin has really got it going- I’m sure we will be hearing more from him in the future.
