“My late father was a Spike Jones fan. Here is one of Spike Jones’s hits played on an acoustic guitar through a single mic. According to John James, known as JJ, he transcribed this directly from the old timey sheet music.”

“JJ playing a Fylde Oberon Custom. 12 St.Rag was a big hit for jazz bands such as Pee Wee Hunt & Spike Jones ! but this version is from the original piano sheet music. JJ first recorded the piece on the album ” With a Suitcase Shaped like That ” 1981.
