Close To You -Tommy Emmanuel – Up Close

Close To You – Tommy Emmanuel- Up Close There’s something missing in this video (actually a few things) A production… Here’s Tommy Emmanuel performing Close To You with just his guitar and two microphones. This production doesn’t have multiple camera angles, fancy effects or even reverb on Tommy’s guitar. It’s just down and dirty as I like to call it. This video (you may have seen other songs filmed in this setting) is a part of a collection that  is […]

    Maneli Jamal – Daft Funk

Here’s a new song by Maneli Jamal that just got released last week ( January 12) entitled “Daft Funk”.   Lately, Maneli has been getting into some serious groove acoustic… Daft Funk is for sure his funkiest song to date. You would expect with a title like this that he’d be using a lot of the modern percussive techniques for a song like this but, that’s not what happens here. Maneli does however use a percussive backbeat in this song, […]

    Marco Ielpo- Fingerdance

Here’s some really cool playing by Italian guitarist Marco Ielpo with a song entitled “Fingerdance” which is a cover by Billy McLaughlin… performed in the tapping percussive style of guitar.  As you will see, Marco has a bunch of YouTube videos listed and worth checking out, as this video is one of many from his YouTube playlist.
