Tony Haven – Rapids – Lap Tapping Acoustic Guitar

For the life of me, I don’t know how these “tapping guitarist” are able to get such good tone and definition out of a guitar. I have tried to do this and just can’t seem to get the technique (maybe I need lessons from Tony Haven!). Kind of reminds me of when I was learning the banjo. The 3 finger Scruggs style was no problem but, the claw hammer seemed so bizarre and so opposite of a technique that I started with.

Tony Haven has this style of guitar down in a big way, and this is a very memorable piece of music that you will be able to remember a while after you hear it. Great videography as well.
