Francesco Loccisano: Il Volo Dell’Angelo

“Calabrian musician from personal path. Forms on the classical repertoire to tack early in the flamenco guitar and from there to the door with a large volute, which led him to rediscover his roots with a new and more conscious interpretation.”

Okay, I didn’t write the above, this is translated from the YouTube description. So here goes what I have to say about this vid….

Sometimes I just got to wonder what’s up with the amount of views some people get (or in this case don’t get) on YouTube. I was just checking out another guitarist with 2 million views and passed on it because I just thought it was lame.

Then I watched this video with only 229 views and got blown away.

So what’s up with that? And this video has been up for a year and change. Something is wrong or, people other than all of us here don’t know the difference between an acoustic guitar and an accordion.

Now the only info I was able to find on Francesco Loccisano was on YouTube that says the following:

Italian musician from personal path. Forms on the classical repertoire to tack early in the flamenco guitar and from there on his original guitar called “Chitarra…”

Francesco is different for sure, and deserves more views than he currently has. His timing is rock solid and the tone of his guitar really projects. Bravo for a fine video and performance!

Special thanks to Miche Archetto for sharing this video with us!
